Lee + Sam’s first date was a trip to the Art Institute to admire their favorite Monet pieces and so OF COURSE for their engagement session we had to take a trip down memory lane and go back and see all of the art that Chicago has to show us. We walked, we reminisced and chatted about their relationship, their wedding and their dreams for their session and wedding day. We galavanted around the Art institute and I truly just let Lee and Sam be. Some simple poses for them but I wanted them to reminisce about their first date and where they have been and where they are going. 

This honestly was such an incredible start to my season of engagement sessions it really ignited my passion for creating more art with my camera. It was simple and elegant just like the art that adorned the walls of the Art Institute..
