Midwest born and Florida raised and even though I have been living in Illinois almost as long as I lived in Florida, I love to bring the Florida easiness to my wedding days. With over 8+ years of wedding experience I know It’s about the entire journey and how we get there together.I picked up a camera as a hobby in my twenties but always loved the idea of photography and capturing a fleeting moment, a moment that probably wouldn’t happen again. The film photos that are a little grainy or imperfect started to peak my interest when I was a kid but starting this business was never something I even thought about doing when I picked up my camera. As soon as I did… I fell in love with it, the love felt during a wedding, the families coming together and the simple moments that happen, it was like falling in love. It happened all at once and I didn’t even realize it in that moment.

Being in this industry for over eight years I'm here to help guide you through your wedding day photography process as much as I can.Planning a wedding isn’t always the easiest thing and after planning my own wedding in 2024 I know some little tips and tricks that will help you get through and actually be able to enjoy this journey! 

One big thing about me and my business is that I don't want you to feel like you’re hiring just another vendor, I love connection and learning about what makes you, well you! This may happen over our initial call or it may happen over the months of emailing, meeting for your engagement session, and your actual wedding day. Whatever way it happens, I don't want you to feel like a stranger, I want you to feel confident in your choice and like you're connecting with an old friend. 

If I'm not editing or out photographing weddings and sessions, you can find me with my husband, David, and son William. We love exploring new neighborhood parks, trying new recipes in the kitchen or just spending some quality time together. We are avid readers and truly love the quiet moments when William is asleep and we get to curl up on our couch and just read and hang out. The simple moments are my favorite, and it's just another thing that happens in my personal life that I love bringing to your day. The moment that not everyone sees, but it happened, and it may be fleeting, that's why I do this job. That’s why I fell in love with it. Curating those images of lives well-lived.
